Technical Assistance |
| A partnership with the Small Business Development Center
provides a wide range of assistance such as business plan preparation,
marketing strategies, and legal assistance.
Site Selection Assistance through Ohio's Site Selection System and
local utility companies. |
Financial Assistance |
| The Morrow County Planning & Development Office will
work with and interested business to assist in the financing of their
project utilizing the following:
Morrow County Revolving Loan Fund Funds are available to assist with the purchase of land, buildings, machinery and equipment to businesses with an identified need for low-interest loan financing. Typical rates range from 5-7%. Amounts based on job creation or retention. CDBG Economic Development Program Funds are available from the State of Ohio, working through Morrow County to provide low-interest loan financing based on project need and job creation or retention. Rates and terms similar to County's Revolving Loan Fund. Other State and Federal Programs Morrow County can assist businesses in the preparation of state and
federal loan program applications as well as provide job training and
workforce development assistance. |

Morrow County has several designated State Enterprise Zones located at strategic areas in the County. Tax incentives are based on private investment and job creation for manufacturing companies either locating or expanding in those areas.
